Spice’s dam we purchased from Melissa Roberts, in 2000, as we have always admired the quality of ponies the Roberts have shown, and are still showing! A Time For Love, is really what got us “hooked” on the RFP bloodlines, I will always remember watching Amy drive” Love” to many, many Stakes wins, and the awesome Liberty performances A Time For Love always gave! It would give you chills to watch her liberty performances. Spice’s dam is RFP Closer This Time, is a Cress-o-Lar Prime Time daughter. Prime Time was sired by the great Road pony, Dun Haven Drummer Boy! Is it any wonder that Roadster was Spice’s Forte? Chloe’s (Closer This Time) dam is Z J’S Stop The Music. A notable broodmare for The Roberts Family. As the saying goes….”It’s in the blood”, and Sharrway Spiced Wine is a “Prime” Example!

Spice was sired by Pour the Wine HOF, from Cathy Harris’ breeding program. “Wine’s” sire is the HOF stallion Knight’s Mark of Success. Wine’s dam is the good mare of Cathy Harris’ Fine Like Wine. Once again breeding tells the story!
